| Jared Moossy is a Texan born photographer based in Austin, Texas. Jared graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City in May of 2008. His professional career has mainly focused on the changing political and social landscapes of various countries and how conflict has shaped those landscapes. Jared is also a founding member of Razon Collective Jared attended the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2008 and won the PDN Photo Annual and Marty Forcher fellowship fund in 2008. Jared was also awarded a place in PDN 30's emerging photographers in 2009. Jared has since taught at 3 Foundry Photojournalism Workshops. He has worked with and been published in Newsweek, Time, The Wall Street Journal, Stern, Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Harpers and several others. Recently Jared has also transitioned into film, applying his photographic style and voice to the moving image. His most notable role as Cinematographer was for the HBO, 4 part series Witness that originally aired in Nov 2012 |
